english. engrish.

i wonder how many of you out there enjoy reading very weird funny english...i know i do..and someone has come up with a term for it...naming it engrish. i realised there is even a whole website for it...but today's funny engrish come in the form of an mail to me...i burst out laughing....if you haven't recieved anything like that yet...let me share it with you...and hope it makes ur day a little more enjoyable too....not to insult anyone's language proficiency...but just for laughs...;)

Ok..here we go...:)

mama bear told to baby bear: Beware of people...they are going to catch you and eat you alive....so i guess that sign must be for baby bear in case he decides to be naughty and run away...:p

i didn't remember seeing the hobbits in LOTR having anything to do with sports?sheesh. they want you to be in trouble. how mean.
anyway...it was supposed to mean, if you meet any trouble or stuff like that you can call 110 which i think is the police station's number?

hmmx.? i have no ideawhy it was translated into that?

o man.the poor screwdriver was insulted. lets give it some comfort....
well at least it was quite close...i think it was supposingly to be insulated.
close. but not close enough.

after reading it a few times i presumed they meant dining. ?

o crap. that gotta hurt.

i would be sad in a place like this if i saw this sign. :(

i wouldn't want to stay a minute longer here. a fight might just get started. i think i usually slip accidentally.
it actually reads "be careful, the floor is slippery."

if i were stolen....hmm..what would i be?

ok...thats the end of it....hope you had a few laughs...im sure in your life you have definitely made many english.engrish mistakes before...i knew i often made careless mistakes in my english composition when i was younger, and when you read it, it made totally no sense or it would be just funny.

i remember my mum used to scold me for this particular mistake.
'She went to the.' ' i like him because.', ' it tasted so.'
and that would be it. i would always leave out the most important part of the whole statement because as i write my compo, the words are already flowing out in my head to form the next sentence and being as excited as i was i never realised that i left off the main gist of it....haha...i wonder if anyone of you has moments like that too....i know many of my pals never loved compo and prefered comprehension instead if they had to choose...i prefer the former...its much more fun! to me, that is. :)

So yea...sometimes when we laugh at this engrish moments...we also have to remember that we may also have times like that too....but whats important it we try not to have moments like those...ain't exactly glamourous. wahaha...:P
