The past week or month has been pretty choppy.. 

My beloved partner said she was going to say Byebye to me. 

I fell sick a first time in a long time. 

I gotten sore throat, fever and ear infection. 

When the first news hit me it was really bad cause its just hard for me to say goodbye to people especially people I really have come to learn like a cherish 

Lucky no one reads my blog so I can be as sentimental as I wanna be. Hahah 

Writing this at close to 5am I must be crazy. I had a minor asthma attack at around 2pm had medicines and waited quite awhile for it to settle. 

Only thing good about this month was Mayday's concert. 

Life has been a roller coaster. Though I'm very sure I'm not looking forward o the beginning of next month I guess come what may. Shall take it as it comes. Give me a smooth sailing journey instead of a roller coaster ride next month pls. 

For now ill tell myself smile and the whole world smiles with you. :)

jy was so kind to bring me jughead comics! one whole bag..so heavy..thank you thank you!! so kind of her:)) We sat at home awhile then she tried out her cool new apps with her cool new phone..wah sehh:))

then we headed out for dinner for chicken rice and rochor tau hway!:)

sorry no pics. lol. in a rush for time...nearly made her late...gomen. 

having dinner with someone is always better than having it alone...

especially when no one's home, eating alone is so sian. (broken english max.hahaha)

Pepsi and Cola lim

Hola everyone!:) say a big hello and welcome to my 2 new hammies - Pepsi and Cola! in short Pepsi Cola Lim together! heh heh.:P what. cute ok.

I gotten them on the 3rd day of the lunar new year when they were 5 weeks old. So that should make them at least 8 or 9 weeks old now? or more?

I don't have too many photos of them yet...so just let me share a few....:)

Here's Cola..more bright but rather timid and gets bitten by pepsi:( so we had to seperate them into two different cages....Baby Cola!:)

no. not because she sneezes alot, but because when we just seperated the cages she was very traumatised by the biting from pepsi thus for every little fright she would make chew chew sounds....
shes alot better now...:)

lilalienations: i also happen to come accross a local piece of campaign which i thought was pretty awesome too. Done by Saatchi and Saatchi Singapore for the Singapore Navy. I liked the concept! Saatchi2 always comes up with interesting campaigns i realised. To check it out go here**. Check it out, its really kinda cool.

I recently saw a line of promotional campaigns for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), and I personally thought it was really pretty solid! Therefore i decided to post some of my favourite from the whole line of campaign up....

Have a look...see if you like them....Try to get the meanings of them...i thought each and everyone that i put up were real awesome and clear in their messages. I'm quite sure this campaign was a successful one getting the message across, spreading awareness....Or at the very least getting one to think twice after seeing it.

I loved the way how you always were so quick to react when i came by because you smart little old man would know yummy food is coming. You would always look up at me like a adoring little boy with those sparkly ears as though saying..food? is that food i hear? you don't have any...? nooo...pls bring me more yummy food..

This morning i woke up, to see the sparkle gone...all i could see was your suffering. I didn't know what more i could do. You were collapsed in that corner, your eyes open, but i'm sure you couldnt see much. All you could do was breathe very hardly, i could see you were suffering you were going. I sat there helplessly crying away,looking at you,stoking only able to say it's ok, you can go now,you shouldn't be suffering here, let go, its ok, you have been a good boy.

I was supposed to go out, but i know you wouldn't be able to make it till i came back. I didn't want to leave you passed on all alone at home...And i guess, after awhile, you gotten my words and let go. Probably it was a good thing, to see you suffering, i felt so horrible. I pushed back my meeting(thank you jin n fang for waiting) and gave you a final goodbye...

It feels kinda saddening, but then again, you won't be in pain anymore. You would be in a better place or carry on to your next life. Be a good human yes? :) i'm sure you would be hamham...

I sat on the mrt and while walking home i suddenly realise that when i come home i would have nobody to sayang nobody to scream hamham, rascal,momo or taro i'm home....:( for a minute there, i was :(
but i should change my thinking, you guys shared some awesome cute-ness time with it. It's time to spread more joy around. And maybe you all would find more adventure somewhere else. :)

Pulau Ketam Strays.A rescue mission of worthy cause.

I guess most of you out there would have heard of the infamous case Pulau Ketam's Abandoning dog case. In any case you haven't heard of it, in brief it is the island's dogs (300!!) being rounded up by villages ( who i guess, might have found them too much of a nuisance) and taken to a wild deserted island to fend for themselves.

A sudden exile, is just as good as a death sentence in any case. Without food, what are these abandoned dogs going to do...? What if there isn't any food for theselves, or not enough? Won't this cause a ruckus among themselves? A internal war, where everydog is for itself. I do not know why but i somehow pictured a scene of the japanese cult film Battle Royale, where they had to fight for survival.

Many of the dogs have been wounded and scarred....god knows how many more dogs are still there and in need of help...Luckily, some kind souls have helped make their plight known.Let's not point fingers and say who's right who's wrong.

90 year old hammie. :)

If this calculator for hamster age using human years is accurate enough my papa hamster would be in his 90's already.....wow. His son rascal and momo (which recently went to heaven, mum*off topic* my mom was saying hamster die, cry so hard already, like that how to own a dog? ehhh...different ok. my beloved animal move on 3 years or 13 years with me i will also cry like no tomorrow one. i'm a crybaby, i admit. lol.*end.back to topic*) are just 3 months younger...so all my hamhams are so old!:)Wow! Hammie boy, your a old old grandpa in hamster years.
But your still so so so cute.

Hamie and Rascal are noticebly growing older, more sleeping time *they sleep loads even when they were not old anyway. :P* Slower reflexes. And growing big lumps. :(

And i realised today that you can really notice when a hamster is happy or sad, i moved rascal to a new cage when momo died, a smaller one. I notice he became a lot more solemn, either he missed momo or he was wondering "why in the world did i move from a bungalow into a HDB flat?! ^&*%" haha....

Today i shifted him back...o wow. i could almost see him smiling and jumping for joy. *hmm. how was that?* back to the bungalow for rascal.

yes. who said tiny animals with tiny brains are stupid? i think they are adorable and very innocent. :)

I'm such a crybaby. I can't help it.....I don't like my things to be taken away from me.....so selfish. yea. maybe. but things which have been with me over time i grow to be very sentimental with them even if it may be just another thing to someone else....not to mention my precious baby boy momo....:(((((( i knew he was sick. i knew from past experience of taro to be ready, but really, how ready can i be.

2 happy things . 1 terribly upsetting event. funny. why does the former not be able to outweigh the latter?

Why do i still feel sad. many things to think about, i can escape. but this morning, my baby taro girl moved on. as much as i can cry and feel sad, i think its a good thing, as she has been suffering as a sick old ladyhamsters. Their life span is just about that short.

I never thought i would cry or feel sad, alas, i'm not as strong as i think.
I hate to build up a relationship with anything, anybody just to have it taken away. that's why at times being anti social is nice. but not so nice.

oddly suddenly ahshin's lyrics "你的笑只是你穿的保護色" appear in my head. i must be feeling emo.

When i was out with the girls i was happy. :) then new low when i saw the last song's mv...about ella and her pug 'chiang chiang'.....ahh....reminded me of my taro girl. :( is this what yin and yang is about? opposites must always appear? -_-'

She flew up to a better place and yes. i believe she will reborn to be a better person. :) rest in peace taro girl. meme loves you. byebye. waves.
