Gambatte Japan! Your in our prayers.

I haven't been doing any recent posts on my recent birthday celebrations yet because everytime i think of doing it i see something else i wanna blog about.

today i send my highest, most utmost respect and biggest salute to the Honorable Heroes of the Fukushima 50, some where volunteered while others volunteered. They all play a part doing their expertise to try save the nuclear situation, they do this very well knowing the damage done to their own health and lifes eventually. Really. Who would do that? Only super heroes, only, these people are real, they do not own super powers, they do not wear cape or fly around, they just do what they do best and what makes them most heroic is their selflessness.

If life goes on the cycle of Kharma, these people probably have reached the highest level already, because 救人一命胜造七级浮屠. (english translation of what tt means here) They are selflessly working day in and out for the people of their country and beyond. That's not just saving one life, that's alot.

So my highest respects really go all out to you Heroes of the Fukushima 50 and also to the warriors helping out the disasters at the time of strike and afterwards even up till now, you all are just awesome awesome people. I salute you all, and pray for your well being.

Japan! Stay Strong! Gambatte! Everyone is praying for your recovery and cheering you on!
This was done by my facilitator/ex mentor and local graphic artist Soh Eeshaun to cheer on Japan contributed to the site Ganbatte Nippon a facebook page made for that very purpose of spreading some needed cheer and support for Japan. I especially like their montage of getting people to hold the printed messages, good one! nicely done! *thumbsup! Go check them out @ their fb page, Ganbatte Nippon!. ;) awesome awesome drawing. but besides that, i think no matter how ever the picture turns out or whoever the artist is, that cliche thought can be inserted here *not in a bad way of course, i dunno, some people associate cliche to bad. beats me?*, its really the thought that counts. everyone is in their own way cheering Japan on. :)

Japan really amazes me sometimes, nah. most of the time, that's why i love that place....they made a video to educate kids on the recent nuclear event happening around them and yet it is so simply put that i think even a kid in kindergarden can get it...just watch, you'll get what i mean.

even in such disaster, they can regain their composure and sensibility and ensure that even kids are aware of what is going on and no one is left to undue panic...good job!
*thumbs up*

i just read this so i thought i'll share it with you guys who are reading and may popby these places. Mercy relief donation tins are placed @ Maybank brances islandwide, mrbean islandwide, Jumbo restaraunt outlets...and more info Here.

日本 ! 頑張って! がんばって!

Legitimate donation methods to help Japanese Quake Victims

I've been looking around for ways to get any help or send any donation to the quake victims from Singapore and finally saw the donation methods in the new paper today. If you wanna have a look it the new paper of Wednesday March 16 2011 (Page 3).

Apart from the donation method i found directly to the Japanese Red Cross which i mentioned earlier Here* using credit/debit card online transaction method, there are now 2 other methods (i've directly put the scanned picture here for you guys):
The donations are made through Mercy Relief and Red Cross Singapore.
(to have a clearer view of the article just directly click on it to view it as an image so it will open up bigger for easier reading)
This is the link for the Mercy Relief Japan Quake Update page, it has its address for donations too.

I couldn't find the Singapore Red Cross link with the exact details but i found it on the TODAY paper (online) version. It also contains methods of donation similar to the article shown here, but the article gives more details.

If your not from Singapore i also read up on Yahoo! News of ways to donate. I'll leave the link here for your easy references:
Japan earthquake and tsunami: How to help

Just remember to donate through legitimate charity organisations such as redcross and such.
Beware of those fraud people soliciting through email or telemarketing. More tips can be read here.
If you have the means do help, they need every ounce of help and cheering on at the moment, spiritual, cash and kind.
Lets just do it for our fellow human beings, i'm sure they would do the same for us too
Japan, we with you all the way!

I went to my youtube site and saw through my page subscribsions one of the online dudes doing their own bit to support Japan. yea, so i think its really like putting your creativity into good use and helping out one way or another. i'll show you all the video done by nigahiga - Honk for Japan!

So, the gist is he writes a placard honk if you support japan or love japan or something in that sense and for every honk the people on the LA street gave he generously donated $10, generating about $600 just through that video alone. and for every 1,000,000 views that the video gets, he will donate another $600.
Small everyday people in the world reaching deep to SHOW SOME LOVE TO JAPAN!
So, take just 3mins to watch it, so if your pocket doesn't enable you to help, at least you tried.;) Thank you. :)

in other thoughts...(not related to anything above)
Usually i'm not the kind of person who really enjoys the news coverage of people getting the press to showcase them donating money. if the press found out, then thats a totally different story, but if you get the media to come interview, press con you giving money, donating to charity. bfffpptfft. really, did you do it for 'face'? or did you really care?
but anyway, the money will go a long way, with such a huge sum somemore.
so in the benefit of doubt, the press just happened to found out, and you were really caring when you had the intention to donate. so, thank you too. you are a generous soul.

and because the birthday girl wishes so. it must be done.

theres the saying that the birthday girl is the biggest (not in size, but figuratively, more powerful or rather most powerful) on her birthday. and today regardless whether that saying is just an urban legend, i want to use that right. in the states my birthday ends tomorrow, in asia where i am it ends in half an hours time.

So no matter what, i sure hope the good might people, gods, buddha and all powerful beings above heard my first wish i made out of my three wishes before blowing out my candles today.
The first wish can be said and the other two are silent, so i'm sure it must have been heard. Please be benovelent and help stop all the disasters and keep the risk to the minimum...

If you are still blur as to what is going on in the world at the moment, an earthquake of rictor scale 8.9 struck Japan this afternoon and the quake was so bad it caused a tsunami and it was passed on to many other countries to have tsunami warning signs...but luckily the tsunami in the other countries arent as bad as worst fear. thank goodness.

Here are some of the reports handy to get info if you're lost (the links are attached to the reports):
Japan quake leaves hundreds dead amid massive damage
Tsunami surge from Japan quake hits Hawaii

yea...so i pray and wish for the safety of all the people in the disaster struck countries especially Japan my favourite city...what i saw on the news was just terrifying. I hope all will recover soon, and may the number of casualities stop growing from all these disasters. enough.put a cap to it soon.

it will take a while for Japan to recover from such a massive disaster but i really hope they can recover soon from all the hurt, anguish, loss and pain. jia you! mighty people above, please be very kind. let there be less casualties, less suffering and more moments of light in this people's lifes, they need it now.

and its my birthday wish. you have to grant it right. right.
i didn't wish for any great dude to come my way this year, so there. its probably an easier task to be more benovelent to all those innocent.

lets all pray for japan. and all the rest of the other countries in the ring of fire. please, keep all damages and disasters to the minimum, its more that enough already. stop. now show them love and power of kindness.

Everyone be safe, take care. my loved ones, pals, your safety means more than gold to me.
