 Mayday won 6 out of 7 awards at this Saturdays 23rd Golden Melody Awards 2012 this year! WOOHOO!

a lil sad ashin didn't manage to clinch the nomination which would give them full victory of the 7 nominations...best song writer award...but it's ok. We really know how good he is. and not in any of my biasness but it's really true, he is really one of the best lengendary song writers.

To me what makes a song writer good is the comprehension of the listener...and true enough, mayday's lyrics are also so close to heart and easily comprehend-able..Ashin to me, 你也得奖了！:D

i'll still say they well deserved every award and i'll bask in glory for them.:)

mucho gracias. :) somehow i feel it's much harder to tell (for me somehow, even if i do feel it) your papa i love you every now and then. I think its a men thing and asian thing not to tell guys especially your dad right upfront I love you Paps!

 But, i still always make the effort when I can to write it down on card to let me paps know that i am always proud of him no matter how sometimes I can get so downright frustrated and angry with him...but deep down he is my beloved paps that I am so proud of...:))

sure sometimes i feel he has his weird ways and all but hey. don't you don't i? We all do, maybe even something i feel perfectly normal can be weird to someone else.. so i guess...if we face the world with our utmost sincerity and not harm anyone else to benefit ourselves i think we are alright. :)

I personalised the card till 3am in the morning and decided this year I won't put it out with the present as I usually do on the previous years, I wanted to give it to her personally! Hehe...she was a lil disappointed when she woke up earlier then me, she thought I probably forgot or bo chup.

No horrrrr! I got e present ready wayyyy before hand! Heh. She was really happy to receive the present and card though she did lament that the card was not handmade, but but! At least I made good effort to personalise it. I forgot to take a picture of the present a lovely bag!

She loved it:) I don't know why I don't have many good photos of me and mum through the phone...either I'm being wacky or the photo ain't clear, but then again pretty or wacky she's me beloved mumsie.

樱桃小丸子

i've been liking 樱桃小丸子 ever since i was in primary school, i've gotta thank my chinese tutor for that though. She was the one who religiously tapped (yea,tape, i am that old) the cartoons for me to watch every lesson to improve my mandarin. Improve I'm not too sure if it did, but it did make me like Chibi Maruko chan ever since!

Suddenly felt like watching her cartoon again and went on youtube to source for some...realised there weren't many....:( boo...next time i should go buy another box of it...i have one which i probably have watched for maybe X20 times at least? hahaha....

I like to rewatch the things i like over and over again!

ok, honestly i haven't exactly learnt it in 15 mins but roughly i rmb that was how my korean friend taught me korean on paper to write my name too!

Hope you have managed to master it in 15 mins though i didn't...:P

I was looking through twitter and saw these two which particularly interests me to share! (i know i know. i have been too busy and not to mention a tinge of lazy to blog recently) but still i would want to share good stuff! heh.

Take a good look at these favourite website inspired dresses and shoes! Super cool can?! :D

 i'm totally loving the Google and msn inspired ones. I think the twitter one is my third fave!

I wouldn't mind wearing them if they actually turn out looking decent!

My least favourite are the Wiki, Megaupload and Deviantart ones...haha...
I can imagine the Wiki one actually being made out and worn as a old Victorian ladies dress...:S 

The deviant art one reminds me alot of like the green hornet or sorts? :P

Youtube and Tumblr tied at 2nd place and twitter at 3rd. The shoe i would least be tempted to buy would be the facebook and Yahoo! one.
Like mannn. they look BORING...

I can't believe i'm not getting the fb one even though it's in blue my fave colour. It's just so uninspiring. The Youtube one might have fallen into that trap but taking a second look at it, it just casually fall into i'm sleek and cool but not loud.
