lilaLienations: i thought the rest were coming. but they didn't. I can't deny i was a tad disappointed. after all i only turn 21 once. but their busy. i must understand. i can't act like a attention seeking spoilt brat.no siree.
jojo and joy did come all the way to meet me and pass me something so nice. i must be thankful. yesh. and for sunday too.my girls :) yesh. =) heh. people forget. i'm not somebody. I'm just me. and i'm happy that for some at least i'm remembered and thats what always makes me happy. :)))

This was one of the very first few Chinese songs that i ringed in my head when i was a little kid who didn't know how to speak mandarin and was learning from everywhere she could.

I guess it just had a nice tune to it. And though i couldn't really understand the lyrics then i liked it very much. Till now i still catch the tune to a song first before really 'hearing' the lyrics, if its good and simple like ashins stuff i can pick it up rather easily. And its touching or endearing in that sense. If its a jay chou Fang wen shan lyric my ears shut off to it and literally ignore the lyrics. I can hear the song the tune with the lyrics but my brain doesn't seem to get it. Probably my standard of chinese hasn't hit that level yet.

Sure the tune and melody are awesome, but sometimes simplisity strikes the chord. :)

I liked the rendition done by this girl. :) i don't think she won high marks due to this song but i thought it was good. honestly. and i don't even know who she is to start with so biasness points not counted in. ;) heh.


Hope you do get that very raw kind of nice feeling inside when you hear this. Or probably it could be just me. but it was nice wasn't it? ;)
