And so we shall start with the everlasting favourite....Old Master Q or otherwise affectionately known as Lao Fu Zi!:))

I don't know about you...but i like lao fu zi's friend very much...the mr potato head....i find him very funny...

Have you ever read Old Master Q's comic before? They were so widely available when i was a kid accompanying my mum to the hair saloon. Do kids nowadays still even know that this comic exist? Do they know what their missing? haha...:p

Then lets have something very different from that of Lao Fu Zi....

Just two different angles of the same thing...realise how different the green creature in the back look without those teeth...haha...:P

This booth was so crowded...it was even hard to get just close to it....aww man!....anyway...managed to see the creator busy signing autographs and doing a nice drawing of his 'scary bear (i have no idea what the original name is)' ain't that cool?

I saw Jamie at this booth! :D yay...lucky! hahaa....i thought i had missed him already...cux apparently i forgotten the booth number he was at....so yea..lucky! Jy and fishy were very enchanted by this cute little cartoon qoobee!:)


And we saw a mysterious booth....oooo....ahahaha!:P

As promised...here are the pictures for the toy and comic fest (part 1!~:))

This was the first store we stopped at to officially start 'wowing' 'ooing' and 'aaaing' all those oggling started here. lol. :P

I like some of their creations, they might be ugly in a sense, but ugly-cute...haha...:p

i suddenly remember in sec band days, uncle tan told us, cute means being ugly but adorable. hahaha...:P

doodolls remind me of some stuffs' which i really like but hasn't hit local shores with much in stock...the uglydolls.

not exactly my favourite...actually, by choice i wouldn't have taken this picture...lols...
i think i have a phobia of human looking dolls, i'm afraid they might just come alive or something. *shrudders. :S

this booth was doing on the spot drawing.
wedding bear dolls. this booth had very little people. it did not attract people like bees to honey...maybe in a sense it has a limited market because of the 'XI" or double happiness on it...which is usually only used during weddings....:P

i remember only building very simple stuff with lego....:P

old letters...=)

I was tidying up my room a few weeks back...and...
What are inside these two old very chinese moon cake boxes....?


taadaaaa! its all my letters and cards. from wayyy back. =)) they date back when i was just maybe 3-4 my first birthday cards and stuff like that...:) nostalgia. just to look back at them at remeniece. :)


This was given to me by my favourite best pal in pri sch....Lim Huay Tyng!:D it was very fun to make cards then...because, computers were fairly new to us.

Hee...its really simple. There wasn't much words, just pictures. but. when i recall stuff like this. the memories are very sweet. :)

Yesh. you are right, if you have ever sent me a mail..a letter..a card...they'll probably be all kept safely in there. You never thought i would keep it right..? They are my memorable stash of great memories! :D

Now with the new emails and all...letter have lost that personalised touch, so people who know me, will realise that i still very much love the old fashioned pen, paper and stamp. haha...don't you feel so excited to open your mailbox to realise you have a letter..? Maybe its just me...haha..:P

When was the last time you recieved a hand written letter/ card..? And when was the last time you sent out one...?
Send one to someone who would least expect it and give the person a lovely surprise! make their day! :D heh....

bottom line...if you ever bring me to go see fireworks, be prepared to stand/sit/be next to a total ogling swa koo. wahaha!:P its not as if i haven't seen fireworks in my life before...its just that...i find it so fascinating..like. every time i see it! without fail. :D


So that was exactly what happen when i met up with my zoo family gang for dinner at marina. It so coincidentally, was the day of the NDP rehersal. And i realised that this year's NDP's goody bag does look quite good in comparison to the previous years, there is some sort of design to it....(if what i think i saw was the goody bag is correct.:P)


So we went to some fancy jap restaruant which serves quite nice food, if chosen correctly...mine was yummy! ben's was hmmmx...haha...:P o! now i remember the name of the shop. MOF; ministry of food. lol!:P

dada and joyce shared the soft shell crab! i think they said it was yummy!:D

don't ask me what i ordered. I can't really recall...haha...

Yesh. the glorious food. :))))) sorry, those are mostly pictures of my dish and one of dada's dish...lol...:P cux i haven't collected all the pics yet....haha...

and while we were camwhoring enjoying taking pictures and tucked into a meal, i was distracted by flashed of light outside....

and that was when i said...in Chinese no less...-_-'' haha..."yan hua yan huo!!!!" i was so excited i think the uncle and his family sitting next door got a little shock....lol...then subsequently...everyone looked outside admiring the fireworks 'ooing' and 'aaing' together....hee...:P

call me a swaa koo....as long as im happy and its not a bad thing...i'll continue doing what makes me happy....haha...:P

It's real nice meeting with old friends from time to time keeping in touch. Remember to always keep in touch with your pals!;)

oo...and ben's going to army and is quite excited about it....seldom heard of...haha...good luck to him!:)
