sometimes when you look at wedding photos you feel theres a kind of pretense in it...maybe i should'nt classify it as pretense but unnatural, sometimes people are just camera shy or stiff...with this two. they just make it look o.so.good.

I know i already had done a post on 黑人+范范's wedding, but 黑人 just updated his fb with the wedding pics which i was totally blown away by...the quality was really good and it'll be a pity not to share it with you guys yea? this was the first photo which caught my eye, and it wasn't even of the wedding ceremony.
theres a touch of softness in the photo, and i like photos of people holding their babies (though this baby isn't fanfan's) it gives people a motherly feel

and i also really like that our eyes are directed out of the picture to imagine and not a straight in your face, lets pose kinda picture!

not of the main characters in fact you don't even have much of a character, the inanimate object takes center stage here.

okok. i admit, i added this in because they all look good. nothing to do with the photo.
but hey, good models do take a big role in making good photos!;)

somehow the photo comes out very naturally, if you look at the photo closely you will feel a sense of warmth and friendship, like a very natural kind of friendship you would share with your buddy on her big day...

no. i didn't put this because godfrey a is handsome bestman. he is, but i like the angle and the dof of this shot....theres a soft touch and the angle makes the mood good.

Honest, i don't really know...but my guess is that i'm attracted to it because of the composition and arrangement. The photographer could have plainly took her and the flower but he did this kind of arrangement which makes things more visually stunning and interesting.

Blackie & Fanfan + Yanzi & Nadim Van de Ros

Ahh...when idols get married. :)) Fans are especially happy, i'm not too sure about those crazy fanatics who dream about making the idols their own, i think they're just selfish. For the rest of us fans who see upon our idols as inspirations we are most happy for them. Like how you will be happy for your family member who gets a good marriage partner.

Congratulations to Fan fan and Hei Ren for finally tying the knot after 10 long years of being together! May their marriage last long till the heavens and stay blissful always:)

They got married within a day of each other 黑人+范范 on polling day April 7 and Yan Zi the day after polling day April 8!

they initially didn't intended upon taking the wedding photos and were persuaded by everyone around that its a must.
luckily they did so, it is such a beautiful set of pictures.

Blackie proposed to fanfan at a basketball match in the states, it totally took fanfan by surprise.

nike sponsored the wedding shoes for the lovely couple...
i wanna wear sports shoes like this on my wedding day too...
away with the pain from wearing high heels! hahaha...
blackie wore his, but i'm not too sure if fanfan wore heels or the shoes because the shoes might not have give her enough height for the long wedding dress, but she is very tall actually and its a pair, weddings are all about pairs right?;)

The bestmen are Wang Li Hom, Eddie Peng and Godfrey, what a good looking bunch!

Mr Men is the creation of Mr Roger Hargreaves in 1971, after reading his short biblo on wiki i realise he passed away the year i way born...wow. *you learn something new everyday eh.

Mr Men has over (what i personally believe, haven't checked) about 100 characters including the little miss characters...
Each character has a certain personality trait which is kinda cute in a way...

they say you like the things that you can identify with...ahh. must be true to a certain extend...
*sometimes i look at my room and feel just like mr messy. well just sometimes.

why do i only write good mummies? *above* because even though there's the Chinese saying of 天下的妈妈都是一样的 meaning all the mother's of the world are similar, but of course i beg to differ. If you are living in reality you would know the world isn't that rosy, there are all sorts of people in the world, and the unimaginable things they would put their children through, (i get so bloody disgusted, what's in their head, not a brain for sure, or maybe they don't have a heart, it was eaten. there are tons of stories i read every other day, the one in the newpaper today about giving the child 7 botox jabs in hope she'll be as famous as Willow Smith. Go get a life. don't ruin your kid's. many more worse cases lie around daily...sad.) be it for their own selfish greedy needs, laze etc. So if you are one of those who never sent love to your child in any way apart from letting him/her pop out of you, no, this post is not for you. I only dedicate this greeting to those which shower love and tender care to their child:)

A mother does not necessarily need to be the person who gives birth to the child, in this era there are loads of adoptive children, god parents etc etc....i always believe those who take care of the child should be looked up with more respect then those horrible people who just give birth to the child and not care for the well being of the child at all. Of course, sometimes we read the child has to be given up for certain reasons, i do not condemn this mothers because i believe they were thinking of the child's well being and did so in the best efforts for the child, i'm sure they felt the pain too..*if they really did it for the child* if they did it for the child its commendable too....

so for all you mothers who often shower your kids with love, no matter which way you go about it, a shout out to you,

YOUR AWESOME!

mother's day is round the corner...

just so that you can't have the excuse to say ' i forgot' i'm reminding you that mother's day is just around the corner! 8th May'011

It's not a day where you need to splurge on some fancy restaurant and buy all those gimicky tacky gift sets just to make your mom happy.
yesh, it'll be pretty awesome and all, i'm not saying don't do it, i'm just saying do something, anything that will make your mom happy and know she's appreciated.
*you should not only do this during mother's day of course, but since its her special day apart from her birthday, all the more reason to pamper the lady who gave life to you right?*

sometimes its just little things *if your remembered the week before you could have treated her to a meal then already, see, need not only be on THE day itself. besides, it'll save you the waiting time for a seat/table and the exorbitant prices restaurants charge in excuse of the day*

give her a hug.
give her a kiss.
let her know you love her.
yea, asians don't really do hugs and kisses much.
nor do we express ourselves pretty well, but in our own way with our own touch, display it proudly and let them know.

subtly. brazenly.
it counts.
and everyone loves to feel appreciated.
remember that.

make her a meal, even if its the most horrible one, she'll shed a tear not because its bad *ok, maybe,lol* but because its from the heart.

enjoy mom and dad being around everyday.
sometimes parent can be pretty annoying because we suffer generation gap lags*not because they mean to, and not because we want to be annoying (in their terms)*, but admit it, you know you love them. and admit it again, you know they love you.
