Protective....?

Sent Mr Chai to the airport yesterday.....he is going to Europe for 5 months...5 months worth of fun!! Can you imagine?!

I also want! :( Castles.....yada yada amazing places in between which i don't remember...london...Harry potter...Switzerland! and more amazing places....* jealous already!* haha....

We met on two consecutive days!

 the lemon tart thingy was omg so yummmmyyyyy!

On Sunday to celebrate Ming's birthday and on Monday to send Jh away. 

I usually am rather reluctant to go out and return home late on monday to thursday (weekdays) cause i'm so busy plus after being so busy all you want to do is just relax your mind for the next day...

but for people i'm close to...definitely. 

realised everytime a bugger goes overseas for sometime there would be at least a few representatives to send them off...

people who i less than 3  :))

I was most lucky to have a big group of buggers to send me off when i went to the states...hehe...

(though i rmbed i look lika cui max on that day -_-)

they say friends are like family you choose for yourself.

i think friends are akeen to the second family that by fate i met and by love and determination keep with me. 

(hey. i mean you need to work hard to upkeep every kind of relationship right? even friend ship. :))

I have a habit which is to be very protective over anything which i consider as 'mine' even friends and family. 

i must always have the security of knowing they are safe and well to function properly...

i get really annoyed or worried in any case when i feel that people close to me are in danger and i can't reach them or can't help them....

yesterday i realised that my reaction is blatantly clear to everyone. hahaha!

and i don't bother to attempt to hide it. 

People always say i'm a nice person. 

nahhh...deh deh. wrong!

I'm a reflection of who i am facing...if you're nice to me. i'll be really nice back. 

but if you're going the other way, don't blame me for not being the poster child for politeness. 

bie's guy friend whom i didn't like for very good reasons (which i shall not even try to mention) suddenly decide to turn up (or so i presume)

whoops! the two daughters were trying to keep it a secret! haha...

if i had known more i and if it wasn't so late already i  would probably gone ahead and have a good chat.

because i know that my family deserves only the best. 

nothing less than that. 

scums are not allowed into the family. 

there's this very minor detail that usually nobody notices but i kinda practise...

i'm all into social media and all (duh. look at where i work)

but i won't add fb friends of just any new boyfriends/girlfriends of friends...unless i'm certain they are really going steady and most probably walking down the red carpet together....

it's a weird habit i guess...?

i'm weird like that. 

i put alot of effort when i make friends you see *defensive*

i know that by being this protective over my close friends it might make them uncomfortable or feel very loved ( i hope most of the time its the latter, not everyone has special treatment from me one hor. only if i treat you like family. hehe) for my family, i guess they take it for granted i'm like tt. haa!

but as my tweet puts it...

i'd rather i say something because i wanna be a real friend and say it for your good...rather than be all nice and smiley and regret one day i was nice but not nice enough....

sometimes i worry that it backfires and all...but then again...

i'd rather my buddy gets angry with me now then look back 10 years down and say why didn't you tell  me earlier?

but i'm glad...

we understand each other well enough...

Happy Father's Day to all wonderful papas around the world.

 this photo was from my bday 2 years ago! i was looking through the pics and just saw it:))

mucho gracias. :) somehow i feel it's much harder to tell (for me somehow, even if i do feel it) your papa i love you every now and then. I think its a men thing and asian thing not to tell guys especially your dad right upfront I love you Paps!

 But, i still always make the effort when I can to write it down on card to let me paps know that i am always proud of him no matter how sometimes I can get so downright frustrated and angry with him...but deep down he is my beloved paps that I am so proud of...:))

sure sometimes i feel he has his weird ways and all but hey. don't you don't i? We all do, maybe even something i feel perfectly normal can be weird to someone else.. so i guess...if we face the world with our utmost sincerity and not harm anyone else to benefit ourselves i think we are alright. :)

I personalised the card till 3am in the morning and decided this year I won't put it out with the present as I usually do on the previous years, I wanted to give it to her personally! Hehe...she was a lil disappointed when she woke up earlier then me, she thought I probably forgot or bo chup.

No horrrrr! I got e present ready wayyyy before hand! Heh. She was really happy to receive the present and card though she did lament that the card was not handmade, but but! At least I made good effort to personalise it. I forgot to take a picture of the present a lovely bag!

She loved it:) I don't know why I don't have many good photos of me and mum through the phone...either I'm being wacky or the photo ain't clear, but then again pretty or wacky she's me beloved mumsie.

Hello everyone! 

Sorry I haven't been updating for a period of time...

gomen gomen!! >.<

but this time it's really not because i've been lazy...

*whispers. ok maybe a little bit*

but it's really more because my life is really a hectic mess at the moment, its not a mess, its just i'm a little emotional wreck. I think too much and feel too much and dunno how to release them properly so it just feel like a lil off at the moment. But after the last straw yesterday due to some trivial matter (ok, not so trivial, i didn't manage to buy my wongfu meet and greet tix. but usually i wouldn't have cried. but i think it was kinda a last straw, and it was a good emotional release. Who says being a crybaby is not a good thing? I think it helps me get things straight and release inner tension. *act cheem* lols)

But the lucky thing is, Ann nee my beloved travfam sis also a fellow Wongfu fan. A new convert, muahahaha:D bought two tix, one for her bf and one for herself, but knowing i couldn't get the tix, they very nicely offered me the tix...sweet or what?! Love them to bits. Really appreciative & thankful. :)) not really because of the tix fully, but more so because they did something so nice..you feel all so warm and fuzzy. :)) awww. 

so yesh! I'll be going to see them! LIVE! and hopefully take a pic and get their autograph! *feeling like a total fangirl* but i don't care! love them!

been catching them since they first started and were not officially known as wongfu yet, where phil was still making his lip synching vids...how far they have come! :) my inspirations. really:)

so anyway. going back to my original topic, 

been really really busy so i haven't been blogging much. 

i promise i will be back when i can. i'll try! still love writing here though i'm not too sure if anybody apart from myself and maybe jy reads...haha...*or jy, you skipping on me too? :P

but honestly, i've stay positive all these while thanks to the support gotten from everyone.

a day with the family @ changi beach

I went cycling after X numbers of years at Changi Beach last Sunday!:D Its really been a long long time since i last cycled, lasts see...maybe since after primary school...? It has been so long that i thought i had already forgotten how to cycle, i spent a good 5 mins figuring out how to pedal (get two feet on the pedals and move) without falling.....i was so sure i had forgotten the skill at first but my mom said, its just like swimming, once you learnt you will never forget....
it's true! you won't forget it....BUT your skills will turn rusty and your courage will diminish and take some time to build up...by the end of the day i was feeling like a semi pro! muahahaaha. i'm a natural. not And after talking so much, i realise, there wasn't one picture of me cycling at all!!! ah. crap. hahahaa...o well. it was a really enjoyable day:D

we got there in the late afternoon, near evening time...
it wasn't planned, bro came back for the weekend and after a very hearty late breakfast/lunch dad drove to Changi Beach...
The weather was good...nice blue skies:)

We didn't hit straight to the bikes, we went drinking.
yea, in midday, learn from the ang mos.
hahahaa...
and we had a drink.

the cans are really cute, its much smaller than the usual beer can, its about half or a little lesser and half of a normal can.

anyway, i wasn't drinking ribena, bro got me to drink cranberry vodka.

not riding like some lonesome wobbly drunkard as i first started out.
i swear if i didn't look that awake or if you stake me out from the back you would believe i was drunk from the way i swerved left and right.

they were all like fish to water....
i was the only goondo who had trouble at first butbut

It's not a day where you need to splurge on some fancy restaurant and buy all those gimicky tacky gift sets just to make your mom happy.
yesh, it'll be pretty awesome and all, i'm not saying don't do it, i'm just saying do something, anything that will make your mom happy and know she's appreciated.
*you should not only do this during mother's day of course, but since its her special day apart from her birthday, all the more reason to pamper the lady who gave life to you right?*

sometimes its just little things *if your remembered the week before you could have treated her to a meal then already, see, need not only be on THE day itself. besides, it'll save you the waiting time for a seat/table and the exorbitant prices restaurants charge in excuse of the day*

give her a hug.
give her a kiss.
let her know you love her.
yea, asians don't really do hugs and kisses much.
nor do we express ourselves pretty well, but in our own way with our own touch, display it proudly and let them know.

Pepsi and Cola lim

Hola everyone!:) say a big hello and welcome to my 2 new hammies - Pepsi and Cola! in short Pepsi Cola Lim together! heh heh.:P what. cute ok.

I gotten them on the 3rd day of the lunar new year when they were 5 weeks old. So that should make them at least 8 or 9 weeks old now? or more?

I don't have too many photos of them yet...so just let me share a few....:)

Here's Cola..more bright but rather timid and gets bitten by pepsi:( so we had to seperate them into two different cages....Baby Cola!:)

no. not because she sneezes alot, but because when we just seperated the cages she was very traumatised by the biting from pepsi thus for every little fright she would make chew chew sounds....
shes alot better now...:)
