Muppets day out!

Few weeks back I went on a Muppets day out with Sis! :)) So happy that despite being busy I am so lucky to be able to find time to meet my buggers and also meet Sis! :D yayness!

Its a really really old show, honestly i have no recollection of the show other than i really liked Kermit cause he is so cute! haha...I bought a Kermit shirt one year ago from the Walmart in the States!:D Many people like Ms Piggy, but i like Kermit, just like the protagonist in the show!:)

We saw the show one week earlier! muahahaha! #win

If you haven't catched the show yet, I think you really should. It's a feel good movie, and not to mention all the lovable infectious songs...I'll share one which I really liked!

Mayday 3DNA Premier Party

MUST WATCH. 五月天《追梦3DNA》. MUST WATCH.

The movie has 3 segment of stories which are interlinked with the whole theme of the story (Mayday concert) and it will also show pieces of Mayday's DNA world tour....:)) Its not just throwing a concert at you, that would be very nice, but Mayday being our beloved everspecial band put in more sincerity and added in storylines to the movie.诚意 十足!So fans and non fans fans to be alike can enjoy altogether. In the list of 3D concert movies recently coming out, Mayday 3DNA movie obtained a 4 Star rating, higher than all the other asian concert 3D movies. Woohooos! to that. ;))

I was so glad we managed to get tickets to the premier party after i missed the first one at 7pm, luckily they opened a 2nd sellout opening at a 9pm slot. Went with Jy and Orange to catch it. Yesh, finally managed to get jy to go too!:) and She's loving it, how can you not, i mean Mayday is like magic.

Anyone who goes to their live concert becomes an immediate fan, and this was just the movie and shes touched. oyeaa. :) they're good, no denying, my beloved mayday.

Jy and I had dinner and arrived early to collect the tickets. We were so early that we had enough time to go and play bishi bashi at the arcade! i love that game!:D we spent $4 and finished the whole game, damn we're good! muahaha. Orange was in a wedding dinner which she forgot about and had to sneak out to come meet us. hehehe.

and so...in the meantime..

o. the only thing was that we thought we could keep the 3D glasses, kana cheated, they had to keep it back....

haha..but good also lah, bring home to collect dust anyway...recycle also good:)

there was this promotion going on whereby you get the Mayday 3DNA combo and you get an 'exclusive' move poster. :D i wanted to queue for that so we just joined in the queue. 

Only to realise one minute into the queue that, that was the queue to go into the cinema instead..*facepalm* hahaha...So jy went over to help buy the popcorn set and drinks...and i could have my folder...Yay!:DD

Orange wasn't here yet what. Had nothing better to do...so take photo with our blue lightstick and popcorn set! muahahaha:D

The lightstick is pretty cool, it has 3 modes!Reusable, very eco friendly, i like.

Because it was the premier party there was the 100.3 DJ 江坚文 to come and host the event and take photos and stuff. Sorry i am a 933 fan so i'm not too familiar with this station hosts...but they are the official promoters/partner to promote Mayday 3DNA movie in Singapore so must support them abit too lah:)) I left his fb link on his name, check him and their station out!;)

this was the photo taking session where fans posed with their posters and all...they wanted to send the photo back to the Taiwan side organisers presume-ingly so Mayday will know how loved they are by fans. <3

they are 龍之家族, Mayday's technical crew. :)
the one in the middle is actually pretty famous one of the more famous funny guys in the tech crew, and its also very easy to spot him doing backup on stage.:)
the left first and second have their own band now too, Champion:)
oo. and a little juicy bit, the second guy from the left Huang Niu and Middle dude Shi Jie are Monster's cousin's too!;D

Still on Potter fever. (part 1)

Have you caught Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 yet? Well i have! Yay! finally!:) pretty awesome stuff...but wonder why it didn't mange to blow my socks off, but even if the review came out to be the lousiest show ever made (thankfully there's nothing of those) I would still pretty much like a fan girl go catch it. And I believe this consensus rings with many around the world, I read in the papers it open to a gross of almost a billion dollar, not million, in billions. One of the biggest openings ever to be made....

One thing to say, its definitely movie magic...i still haven't gotten over the fever after watching it on its opening day...i went surfing for more Potter magic....You can find most of the pictures i posted and more here* from this guy;) Check them out. .I chose some i liked to share with you guys;) I do realise some of the pics are quite small so you would have to click on them to open it up for viewing:)

I always love sidekicks or underdogs in films and shows, people tend to forget the supporting characters in shows. I think they are the essence of the film, yea of course the main leads, but if theres only a leader and no follower, who the hell is the leader going to lead to war? ( but yesh, for this show, i love the main leads loads too) and in the series of Harry Potter I really grew to like the character of Neveille Longbottom and the Weasley Twins....argubly, I can't really tell if they're really leads or supporting because in the last show Neveille was moved up to be kinda a lead role...ok maybe I would put them under secondary leads. Love the goodness they add to the show and books....its like spice to make the dish taste just right:)

Holy smokes! That's the actor who played Neville!
He has transformed into quite a fine looking gentlemen!
From what I read in the papers, the make him wear shoes two sizes too big, specially made teeth and bigger clothes so as to give him a bigger build and i guess i more goofy look.
But nevertheless, i loved this character, and wow, matt lewis makes it easy on the eye too. :)

Its only about half an hour so its pretty much a holiday teaser, but hey its Po and the gang and it makes me laugh so short, long, its good for me!

i think it wasn't aired locally, usually shorts aren't.
I know there is a short done for despicable me too, which we saw in the states, but we don't get to see it here...

I can't wait for the release of the movie, i heard from the Malaysian Mayday Fan site it'll be released in September for Malaysia screens...what about Singapore?! I haven't find the news for that yet, but i'm sure they'll bring it in. Somebody better....haaha..

Rio!

Finally manage to catch one of the animations that i have been wanting to catch...no one has been all too free to catch it with me...Ling had to get her shoes fixed at the cobbler so yay! winwin situation....we fixed it, had dinner and caught a movieeee!:D I wanted to watch Hop, but cwp was all out of it! Dang!!!

So we caught Rio instead, she was really nice to watch it again with me..*beams* hahaahaa...cause, she had already watched it once and because i said i wanted to watch it and she say it was nice so second round for her, first round for me!:D *so nice of her!xiexies.* but, she missed the opening the last time she watched it...so yes! another winwin situation!

I'm getting good at this WIN - WIN situation aren't i? lol:p

double win-win : its from one my all time favourite show creators- do you need to ask?
ICE AGE!:D i've watched that show countless amount of times!;P

i was wondering if Rio was going to be another one of those overrated kind of animation...*and not to mention i'mnot a big fan of birds being enertainment, i don't even fancy going to the jurong bird park! i'd rather go to the zoo!* but i was so wrong, i enjoyed it! Totally love all the Samba Rhythms and moovess:) i've seen some not too awesome reviews, but heck. I love it. It's the kind of show which you would seriously contemplate going for the soundtrack, well at least in my case.

I really like the first segment that i went to youtube it and YEAH! i found it, so of course i'll be sharing it with all you good people lest anyone hasn't watched and still need something to decide...Here! Watch the opening segment...i've played it countless times already, its pretty infectious...i hummed it a few hours after listening to it;)

If you need a light family movie to share a laugh with, this is the go to show. The old and little ones will can all sit down together and enjoy;)

i'm not juding it on cinematography, yada yada all. and some criticise its too common/simple a storyline, i beg to differ, there are the action pack wam bam alakazam kinda flicks, theres the think so much you can't sleep kinda film and theres this kind of family film, you can't just lump everything and judge them all together...

As usual my favourite characters weren't exactly the lead chaeacters but the supporting sides, Pedro and Nicco!
This two add flavour to the movie man...! Its like a bowl of soup, its nice but somehow you feel its missing something, adding a little pepper and voila! Its does the trip, mmm mm mmm! That's the kind of 画龙点睛 feel it exudes.;)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is finally here! Yayness!:D just in time for me to catch it...phew!:)

And I totally thought it was awesome amazing! I was afraid it might dissapoint me, cause you know how i tend to get dissapointed when i anticipate the coming of a movie and all....it didn't! yay!
The buildup is good..and the cinematography! if you ask me. wowww. i really like it. :)
though mom differs totally. she said. Boringggg. too much waiting around, where's the action yo? ok. she didn't put it that way, but that's her gist.

I don't know. i totally was entertained from the front to the back even though yea, there wasn't much 'action'....

Part 2! I can't wait for it!:)))

but then again, with the coming of part 2 means the film i watch every episode with delight is going to end...that's like 10 years of my life following magicians. witch and wizards. it'll be a joyous and sad occasion? haa...:P

Look how the main cast has blossomed, we literally watched them grow up on the big screens..:)
Emma-Hermione especially blossoms into this very pretty young lady.
long or short pixie hair, she looks amazing. :)

Wonder where we will catch them next? :)
the friendship that blossoms between the magician onscreen is just heartwarming..i'm sure offscreen it is too:)

o! there's more scenes of the twins in this one! i like them! they're funny!:)

The movie is based on his own childhood experiences while growing up in Penang.A malaysian production, so many malaysian big stars. And of course must support lah, 阿牛 and I from same hometown. wohohohoho...lols.
