haven't been doing much of those for a long time.

been so busy and draining i get so tired or tied down by work.

I have almost forgotten how to blog...

Ola everybody!:))

I have not blogged for quite some time now....and honestly. I don't know where to start!!! Seems that so much have gone by recently. Was feeling pretty drained sometime back. I couldn't tell if it was the hormones you know those pesky ones which makes girls all emotional once a month or whether it was really because I was really drained.

But thankfully, I'm the sort who sorts out most of the things with tears and a good shower. And maybe a good retail therapy, (but have realised, my funds are kinda dwindling so I have to curb myself on spending anything on me at the moment. boo to that. :(( but was very happy to spend on cousie and auntie when they were in Singapore for a short few days) I wish i could be less stingy on myself, but i can't. Damn. I can justify spending to make people around me happy because I will be happy too. But i can't justify spending that much on myself because I will just end up feeling guilty and feeling broke. -__-' what's my logic? o but then again, i spent with no hesitation on mayday's concert. *活该feel broke. lols. idol mahh.:P

haha. So anyhoo, one morning before work I think i spent a good 20minutes breaking down while dressing up. I wanted to just emo abit longer just to you know maybe get it all out of my system but I still had to check the time so i wasn't late for work. WAHLAO EH. #loser. #failmax. LOLs.

but after that, ok maybe emo-ed for a few days i was fine already. so i like to think its the stupid ladies hormones. i'm not the depress o cut wrist kinda person after all. :PP o but wait. i have violent tendencies as a kid, i like to scratch myself and bang the wall because i was so upset and angry and didn't know how to express it. i suspect i was an autistic kid. lol lols!!

this post came out as a pretty random rambling i just realised. no photos?! nooo. that is so not my style..i'll go dig something out to put, heh. :)

ever since i started working ive not been blogging much. *guilty much* it's ironic how i fell in love with blogging and the whole blogosphere and yet after i started working i can do what i love less, which is i blog so little now.
lazy & procrastination adds a big part to just being busy.

i'm in the mood to blog now after this super random ramblings post i think i shall do multiple post today....i hope! heh.

to the people who are celebrating Vday soon, have you gotten everything done yet? Or are you the kind of couple who just treats everyday as Vday. That's awesome!:))

Hello everyone!

Sorry I haven't been updating for a period of time...

gomen gomen!! >.<

but this time it's really not because i've been lazy...

*whispers. ok maybe a little bit*

but it's really more because my life is really a hectic ~~mess~~ at the moment, its not a mess, its just i'm a little emotional wreck. I think too much and feel too much and dunno how to release them properly so it just feel like a lil off at the moment. But after the last straw yesterday due to some trivial matter (ok, not so trivial, i didn't manage to buy my wongfu meet and greet tix. but usually i wouldn't have cried. but i think it was kinda a last straw, and it was a good emotional release. Who says being a crybaby is not a good thing? I think it helps me get things straight and release inner tension. *act cheem* lols)

But the lucky thing is, Ann nee my beloved travfam sis also a fellow Wongfu fan. A new convert, muahahaha:D bought two tix, one for her bf and one for herself, but knowing i couldn't get the tix, they very nicely offered me the tix...sweet or what?! Love them to bits. Really appreciative & thankful. :)) not really because of the tix fully, but more so because they did something so nice..you feel all so warm and fuzzy. :)) awww.

so yesh! I'll be going to see them! LIVE! and hopefully take a pic and get their autograph! *feeling like a total fangirl* but i don't care! love them!

been catching them since they first started and were not officially known as wongfu yet, where phil was still making his lip synching vids...how far they have come! :) my inspirations. really:)

so anyway. going back to my original topic,

been really really busy so i haven't been blogging much.

i promise i will be back when i can. i'll try! still love writing here though i'm not too sure if anybody apart from myself and maybe jy reads...haha...*or jy, you skipping on me too? :P

but honestly, i've stay positive all these while thanks to the support gotten from everyone.

Happy New Year!:)) How did you spend your last day of 2011? Mine was pretty awesome! Though lacking of sleep and sickly with this annoying and never going away cough (it's still with me! >.

Looking back the year was an eventful one....even though honestly i didn't really like the year as a whole, i still always believe i'm blessed. :) With family and friends you love and who love you, there's nothing that much to complain after all is there? :))

I tried to dig out some photos to recall what i did back in 2011, maybe it isn't exactly complete, but i think it should go something like this...

Last year during this time, I just came back from the States, flying in from the very beautiful San Francisco which i fell in loved with.

my beloved cousie foong came over to Sing over the Xmas weekend. She's so super sweet, she came last year too when I was not around, this year she came again, i think especially to see me *bhb* and also mum to send all lotsa love and tonic. (mum loves the thought but is really scared of the tonic, hahah!)

Don't really have time to write much, and it's pretty much just us camwhoring so yea...i'll let you see me being stupid and let you have a good laugh! :P

i'm the kind of person who can never take pretty pretty pics like some "shu nu" ladylike lady.

Alots been on lately...

Hellos! Pardon my absence for this period of time...alot has been going on on my own life lately..it's really too private to share..lets just say its been leaving me a lil shattered. So my apologies! I will write real soon, I'm trying!:)) don't leave meeee...:p

People who know me well will know that family comes as a number one priority then close friends close enough to be family kind of friends...so if anyone I love is hurt or in pain I feel it double..mum always laugh and say when u see people cry, you cry even harder... Err. Not comforting fail I hope...it's just that I can feel you yo..I'd rather I feel the pain and someone worry over me than be it e other way round. Yesh, I'm selfish like tt. I like being cared for.:pAnd recently I've realised that through e spate of recent events you can see who really bothers... And you feel especially touched when you see that:) thank you to all who have been pouring your love in:) you've given me strength to smile after crying. and thank god, I was born with tear ducts. :D people say stay strong, for me? I just let it all out and then after tt I can put on a smile again,maybe not e best one, but at least a nice brave one to face e next day and continue waking.

There will be those who genuinely care and have and make e time to bother about your welfare and there are also those who will just make a passing remark and forget abt it all..I'm just glad as I said in twitter, in trying times it's good to be among the people you love and the people who love you:)) mum has been touched by all e sincere love and wishes pouring in for her...you see, people whom you seldom keep in contact with specially calling to send their regards, though it doesn't bring really anything much ( material wise) but honestly nothing can beat that warm fuzzy feeling inside:))

Thank you, you guys whom have shared your kind love, care and Concern.. Really appreciate it:)).... Ok enough of my deep heart to heart talk. Where did all those words suddenly come from? Hahah...verbal vomit.

Its a really really old show, honestly i have no recollection of the show other than i really liked Kermit cause he is so cute! haha...I bought a Kermit shirt one year ago from the Walmart in the States!:D Many people like Ms Piggy, but i like Kermit, just like the protagonist in the show!:)

We saw the show one week earlier! muahahaha! #win

If you haven't catched the show yet, I think you really should. It's a feel good movie, and not to mention all the lovable infectious songs...I'll share one which I really liked!

I was reading through an article a pretty good one if you asked me, about an interview with my senior from Secondary school whom is now a respectable dancer. :) i love her tattoo. ok, back to topic, if you're interested, have a read about it HERE* It's really well written and captures the reader's attention. I was reading through a point Zelia (how cool is this kind of name!) was saying and totally thought I got to share...

"If you need the attention… call for it. But no need to cut. SOMEONE will listen. Someone will understand. It’s not wrong to be depressed… But it’s wrong making it worse!"

Really. That is so true, what she meant by cut was self mutilate, many teens don't know how to react and would just hurt themselve to stop the pain. But if you don't realise every cut you cut upon yourself, bleeds not only on you, but the people who care for you....

Graduated quite a few weeks back now....let me see...I went to have a check with the related post i did earlier..Here and Here. Yipes! I realised it has almost been a month! damn i have been busy:( Haven't been able to come and update here till now, nowadays if i have time i would try to tend to want to do one or two post and schedule them to run...so half the time when you see them published on a certain date i probably wrote it much earlier....haha...

So anyway, anyway! Today's post is about ~~lala 结婚咯！~~ aieee!Dreaming! SALAH. Too many blissful friends around me either pregnant or getting married soon. It's affecting me. :( & :) both ways. haa.

Here i'm supposingly taking my 'cert' from the president of OCU.

Actually the certs were given to us much earlier to allow easy job application process...:P

This is professor Karlie, my first lecturer. She is one of the heads for OCU mass comm, can be stern but also really nice. :)

I guess she didn't really remember me though, well, i'm not the sort to leave a lasting impression i guess, plus, she teaches so many students!

But one thing I and LL will always remember is that how fond she is of calling us to answer questions in class because our names were super easy to remember and pronounce! hahaha...

Here i am with Prof Leo ( don't worry, I'm not going to bore you out by introducing each and every Prof) This is another head in OCU's Mass Comm. He was my lecturer for Philosophy. Though everyone else mostly thought his lessons were really boring, but I quite like him! He put his heart into imparting his knowledge. I think Philosophy is a either you like it or you don't kinda subject...Socrates & Aristotle and all the teachings...it's actually pretty interesting...

Plus! When he was giving his speech i admire his speech the most because you can feel he wasn't speaking off a script but right off his mind/heart. Plus it was short enough and witty. I like! If not yesh, some speeches just bore the crap out of me, Prof Leo's was just great, even dad liked it!:)

He said, "When you open the papers today, you will find yourself in it. But not for the wrong reasons this time..." nice.

*ahems*

I got an audio technica headphone again!:)

The last one i got (how long ago did i get it? 3-4 years plus?) was from the same series, it was the 1st of the series, the one i bought today is the latest update of it version 11. woohoo!

It was a recommendation by the salesperson.

Kinda sad, that headphone shop is going to move out of cwp!:( boo. anyway they are having sales now, so anyone who is looking for discounts on headphones, mics and stuff can go popby to have a look!:)

i initially thought the white and pink one was nice (they had no blue, in case your wondering. I still <3 blue!:P)

but for the 1st one i had it was an all white one and it gets dirty a little more easily...so i thought black would be a nice change, and the the all black looked abit dull....

and so the salesman did his salespitch and say that the green wires are good at night because if you stand by the road at night, it would be pretty bright and so cars can spot you. so hmm..less chances of accidents? lol.

anyway, i got it also because i thought it was pretty funky and just needed a little push to try something different.

i might add on some cute lil stickets...if i find anything suitable...or maybe not..

because i've been thinking about it for the longest time, but haven't done anything for my old headphones...so hmmx. ya.

laziness prevails. or the stingy poker in me, says don't waste money!

i'm so happy for Selina, after the whole horrible ordeal she's gone through, today she will be entering another big stage in her life. Yeaps! Her long awaited wedding with Ah Diong! It's great to see her all well with smiles now, i know there are those people who will say her scars will never go away blah blah blah. BUT! i think, who cares! as long as the fans like us still stick around with her, her buddies and sisters aka Hebe and Ella and her family and of course now her hubby is around with her, her smiles will never stop!

I came home one day and chanced upon a lovely package waiting for me on my table....

all for meeeeee!

i love mail (as long as their not bills or newsletters) especially love packages from friends and family because they just scream LOVEEEE! Sending you lotsa LOVEEEE!

usually when i send out packages i would leave my name and at least address behind least my mail gets lost at least i can get it sent back to me.

in my head i already had a guess to who it was because of the handwriting...but no confirmation yet.

this letter sealed the deal. Confirm and chop i knew who this 'mysterious person' was already...or who 'my idol' was..buahahaha....I thought she forgot to put her name, i only realised she didn't forgot, it was to act mysterious....woooo~too bad i know you too well..you know me well, i know you well too! hehe...:P Not many people call me rahrah;)) i love this cute nick. and because you came the other day and played with cola so all the more i know! hee....

Kimuchi Chahan

Also known as Kimchi Fried Rice!:))) (that's the japanese version of it) I'm not a big fan of kimchi unless it's cooked, in soups or fried rice...because I think i don't really like the fermented smell of garlic if they do have it in the kimchi. (Do you know? different families each have their own version of Kimchi making recipes. No two recipes are the same, so even though its just kimchi, they can taste very different. And Kimchi we eat locally are usually the one made with the chinese cabbage, but actually kimchi have SO MANY DIFFERENT KINDS. why the caps? because its really alot but i have no idea how many actually too, i know it is enough to fill my whole dining table. I haven't tried many types of kimchi before, but my favourite up till now, has to be the cucumber kimchiii!:D yumms! but too bad, it is pretty rarely found here....

And soo, let me get back to my fried rice.

Looks can be deceiving, but hey! mine definitely looks the look and taste the taste.

muahahah. :P

i secretly believe that it tasted better than the fried rice i bought the next day from the coffee shop down stairs. *smug* haha.

ok lah, i admit, its pretty easy. I'm no top chef, i can only cook food edible to me, maybe if someone else ate it they would think otherwise.

hahahaha.

and i have a weird habit, i only know how to cook in kitchens i'm familiar with, put me in someone else's kitchen, disaster will happen. haha.

to be vaguely authentic i used korean spoon and chopsticks given by mom's friends as a souvenir and specially drank korean tea instead of the usual japanese green tea i drink.

Haha. the things i do when no one's around. haha...all in the name of 有趣

ok. I'm not trying to bore you out with my multiple pics of my kimuchi chahan. lols

just in case you might be interested in how to cook this very simple dish when your home alone like me....Here are the super simple steps!

Ingredients needed:

(well the amount depends on yourself, i just do it by 'agaration')

Cooked rice (left overnight, if not just cook some rice in the pot)

Mince meat

Cooking oil

Garlic (2 cloves)

Kimchi (well of course right?;))

Dark Soy Sauce

Salt

Chicken Essence Powder (this is my secret ingredient to make sure my food taste good. lols)

if you want a little something more. Add an egg!:)

Step 0.1 (i forgot, so it became this number. lol)

Take the kimchi out of the package and cut it to smaller bite size bits

Step 1.

Heat the oil and fry the garlic, make sure the garlic turns golden brown (not black! control your fire, not too high!)

Step 2.

Throw in the mince meat to fry with the garlic

Step 3.

Throw in the rice, fry together.

Step 4.

Throw in the kimchi you have cut up nicely, take some of the kimchi sauce and add in too, to get the flavour and colour.

Step 5.

Add some dark soy sauce (just so that the coulour of the fried rice looks nicer)

Step 6.

Add in the chicken essence powder, usually i just give the bottle two shakes. Stir.

Step 7.

Add salt as to liking.

Step 8.

If you want to add an egg. You can just push the rice to the side and fry the egg in the same wok, i'm lazy i don't wanna wash so many things. Or you can fry the egg into the rice or you can fry it in a seperate wok, all to your liking.

Step 9.

Put on plate

Step 10.

Enjoy!

Eat!

Makan!!!

anything too difficult also i can't lah huh...so this is good enough if your hungry and alone for the night.

the best thing is you can keep the unused kimchi for some time and cook this dish again when you feel like it!:))

so apart from pasta (the only other decent dish i can cook. lols) this is a good alternative!

Hellos! Are you missing me? (so bhb i know. lols:PP) Haven't blogged in a few days...I guess things will be like this from now on, because if you've been with me, reading...(yay! thank you. haha) you would know, i've made a transition in life now and would be pretty pretty busy already. (boo to being busy, but yay to taking the next big step in life. Everyone has to grow up.) But growing up doesn't mean growing old ok?!

I will still always keep my youthful heart and what i call my inner kid alive! (aliveee! Aliveee!!! muahahaah.) Which means, i would still love Mayday (nothing to do with my inner kid, that's probably the fan girl in me) I would still love my DISNEYLAND!:D No such things as 'those childish cartoons' for me...it keeps your mind alive and active, what childish?! :P And being with WongFu, watching their stuff, because like me, they keep their inner kid alive and well too....! Me likes that.

Ok, so today's post isn't exactly a real post, but really to just let anyone who is reading there know or understand whats going on so they (you) won't stop reading because you think i'm not writing anymore...*gasp. the horrors!*hahaha...so yea, it'll be less frequent but i'll keep writing!:)

Mayday 3DNA Premier Party

MUST WATCH. 五月天《追梦3DNA》. MUST WATCH.

The movie has 3 segment of stories which are interlinked with the whole theme of the story (Mayday concert) and it will also show pieces of Mayday's DNA world tour....:)) Its not just throwing a concert at you, that would be very nice, but Mayday being our beloved everspecial band put in more sincerity and added in storylines to the movie.诚意十足!So fans and ~~non fans~~ fans to be alike can enjoy altogether. In the list of 3D concert movies recently coming out, Mayday 3DNA movie obtained a 4 Star rating, higher than all the other asian concert 3D movies. Woohooos! to that. ;))

I was so glad we managed to get tickets to the premier party after i missed the first one at 7pm, luckily they opened a 2nd sellout opening at a 9pm slot. Went with Jy and Orange to catch it. Yesh, finally managed to get jy to go too!:) and She's loving it, how can you not, i mean Mayday is like magic.

Anyone who goes to their live concert becomes an immediate fan, and this was just the movie and shes touched. oyeaa. :) they're good, no denying, my beloved mayday.

ok, before that....Dinnnerrrr! was so hungry!

We were so early that we had enough time to go and play bishi bashi at the arcade! i love that game!:D we spent $4 and finished the whole game, damn we're good! muahaha. there was this promotion going on whereby you get the Mayday 3DNA combo and you get an 'exclusive' move poster. :D i wanted to queue for that so we just joined in the queue.

Only to realise one minute into the queue that, that was the queue to go into the cinema instead..*facepalm* hahaha...So jy went over to help buy the popcorn set and drinks...and i could have my folder...Yay!:DD

Orange wasn't here yet what. Had nothing better to do...so take photo with our blue lightstick and popcorn set! muahahaha:D

The lightstick is pretty cool, it has 3 modes!Reusable, very eco friendly, i like.

Because it was the premier party there was the 100.3 DJ 江坚文 to come and host the event and take photos and stuff. Sorry i am a 933 fan so i'm not too familiar with this station hosts...but they are the official promoters/partner to promote Mayday 3DNA movie in Singapore so must support them abit too lah:)) I left his fb link on his name, check him and their station out!;)

this was the photo taking session where fans posed with their posters and all...they wanted to send the photo back to the Taiwan side organisers presume-ingly so Mayday will know how loved they are by fans. <3

从以前到现在，都是这样的一个人。对于自己很在乎的事，如果心有不甘，就是会心里很不舒服，不想去放弃。

就因为这个不甘心不舒服我硬着头皮去追去问。终于今天得到了一个答案。 if I were to put it, it would be i got one bad news and one good news...which one would you like to hear?

the bad news is, 薪水会比较少。 but it's also not a bad news lah, to me, 只要我努力，　没有什么事是办不到的！（as ling say, be positive!:))
the good news is, 好象觉得终于有人要我了，还有会是在自己喜欢的地方。

是自己去争取会来的机会我觉得特别不容一。可是有可能也因为酱，才会懂得比别人更珍惜。

星期一，祝我一切都顺顺利利吧！好不容一好象要lucky一点了。虽然因为面对过不一样的事情而会有一点灰心，会小心一一的去走每一步因为还是会一点点怕怕的，可是我就是那个打不死的小外星人！ｍｕａｈａｈａｈａ.　很快就又会神经很大条的晃来晃去。　风水轮流转,　这次好运论到我了！heheh.

usually i always try to keep myself in the most optimistic manner to see things in the better light despite sometimes being called more naive or nicely innocent.

but sometimes when you meet blow after blow some written some unwritten, some said some not said, its hard to be that way, and your mind starts playing tricks on you.

You know and your repeating to yourself to hang in there, smile a lil and stay bright, and even if you might not think its going to go off to well a good optimistic attitude is going to make everything better. You know, you understand the logic, but somehow you miss it.

sometimes it just takes a lil someone to tell it to you.

while chatting with the girls over swenson's (or after) it just took one word in the conversation from Ling to jolt me back in thoughts to life.

I was looking at the bleak tunnel with not much sunshine waiting for me inside and she just said be positive!(ok, i think there wasn't the exclamation mark:P)

but suddenly it seems like, yea. Its not as if i haven't seen more shit before, work till 1am no ot bad company, rejections.........yadayada. i haven't died.

Why in the world am i sighing over what i haven't even seen?

Face it positively, that's what i am going to do.

Come what may, if hey, you don't like me or i don't like you we can call the deal off then.

But till what may come, i'll do what i always do best, give it my best with positivity:)

well, that is if we do get any deal settled. so i'm not saying anything, who knows, shit happens everyday right? ( i guess a lil of me still holds on to caution very tightly, caution of putting too much hope in anything.)

if yesterday was one of the best night ever, tonight must be one of the worst. Got a major disappointment, but the worst point of the night is a failed chat with dad.

I wanted to have chat with him, but he felt his show was more important and hurried up and left the conversation we had about me trying to ask him important stuff. I don't open up everyday, but when i need advise I really hope the television show doesn't win me in terms of importance. He has no idea why i'm upset and so he's getting upset with me for being upset and ignoring him. o. the irony.

Don't ever talk down to me. i don't like it. especially with people close to me, it'll be just a big turn off.

i turn on the shower just let myself sit there for the longest time bawling. the amount of water i wasted. sorry. but its the only thing which calms me down.

he probably wondered where i was after the show ended. not that i don't love my dad or he don't love me, if it comes across anyway in this way, its not true. i love him alot and such does he, he is a good dad. But just sometimes, its really hard to communicate well, i wish sometimes the feeling to naturally communicate as with a friend comes easily....is this what they call generation gap in communication. and to think i majored in communication. #fail.

i guess as known i didn't make it to be the 'cream of the crop' i guess. very disappointed, 4 weeks of waiting, but the game's all fair i guess.when they were young they say all you have to do was strive hard and you'll get it. i guess, maybe not everything.

let me just be upset for a lil bit. don't worry. i'll pick up the pieces and good as new soon.

just don't ask me if i'm ok, because if you read, you should know.
& just pardon me if i decide to not reply anything as soon as you might like.

You know when they say exercising is good for your heart because you do all those cardio workouts and your heart pumps faster and work harder to strengthen it's muscles right?

Then, when you are very frighten or nervous and your heart is beating very fast, i wonder if that counts as strengthening the your cardiovascular muscles?

called today. no decision has been made yet, their still looking at more people...omy. i'm like one in the hundreds or other people. sigh, its been a tough 2 weeks wait, ok, till monday then its officially two weeks. i shall hope and pray for the best taking all your luck with me (thank you) and also i told mum i'm very scared to hear what i do not wish to hear from them, but mum says its all fair, you have to expect the mights be chances of a 'no' too. if that happens i'll be so disappointed, but o well, at least i gave it my best shot. But of course saying that, i sure hope its a "YES" Welcome!

I'll just cross my fingers, last few days, throw bucketful of luck my way pls guys!:) shower me with all the love! thanks!:)) jia you!

Smurfs in town!

I had this photos of the smurfs in my handphone for the longest time but kept forgetting about them. Today I finally remembered and downloaded them, and tadaa their here right now for your viewing pleasure!:))

This was taken on the same day Ting and I went to eat at Caramel & Hairloom...Yea, that was quite sometimes eh, a big thanks to sis for especially bringing me to see this!:DDD so happy! i didn't know there was such an interesting exhibition in conjunction with the Smurfs Movie.

Here goes!

the one at the bottom was Ting's favourite because she felt the artist gave it a whole new look and now it doesn't feel very 'Smurfy'.

derrick ho did a very nice job with the paint work on his smurf in officer suit!


i was a lil dissapointed with the 933 smurf though, i thought the paint job wasn't well done...

but 933 is still my number one loved station! haha

i liked this two smurfs for radio 75 especially the little detail of the sweartshirt and the little radio.

hello mozart! i thought this one was cute too!


i didn't take the front of this smurf because i thought it was just so-so. the back shown here is wow wee. pretty awesome eh?;)

i thought this was pretty creative. instead of painting to get the colour she used the punch holder leftovers to get the colour coordination! interesting!

i thought the mummy smurf done by christopher lee was well done too...

don't play play. this husband and wife team quite strong! haha...

when you get everything done around the house nicely, everyone takes it for granted no one gives a hoot.

once you get something wrong they start making remarks. o and its as if i won't feel bad for making the mistake, stop repeating it as if i were the idiot.

when they are the one who make the silly stuff, you just quietly cover it up and redo it. no worries, when your the one at fault they make sure its known to you.

and then i'm suppose to look like a angelic person with all smiles? i doubt you would be so if someone picked on your tail. so don't get angry with me because i'm having a poker face.

Zoo Zoo Trip to Batam:)

This is a pretty backdated post. I wanted to do a post about this some time back but i was quite lazy to because it'll be a photo intensive post and blogger could only upload like 5 photos at a time then...so it would mean i would have to go back and forth 10,15 times...not that i haven't done it before, but since blogger has just launched its new interface i thought i should try it out with this post! Wow wee! Easy uploads of photos...all at one shot...:D

So here are the pics for my weekend trip to Batam, I think its a good place if your just seeking a weekend retreat with a good massage:)) Here we gooo!:)

this was the first photo we took before leaving to get onto the ferry.

it was truly a morning of madness.

jojo our pretty babe here woke up late and nearly missed the ferry.

i woke up very early because i kinda thought i lived the furthest, so i didn't want to morning call everyone to wake up at the same time as i did. ( i was afraid they might bite off my head if they didn't need to leave the house so early. haha) so instead i msged everyone and hope they would reply soon.

I was pretty surprised the mrt was quite packed on a 6am for a saturday. wow.

so only meimei replied me....i thought maybe they didn't need to set off so early therefore they weren't awake yet or they hadn't seen the msg.

monsters anyone?

so i went to meet meimei @ macs first for brekky!:) she told me ching was on her way reaching. and the brenda and joanne were the two which hadn't replied any of our msges or call. When ching arrived she told was brenda was on her way out when she last called her so no problem there.

so where was joanne?!!

after much calling and as we were about to finish our breakfast she called me saying she had just gotten up not too long ago....

OMG.

and sooo. after all the hoo haa and rushing to get tickets and she rushing down in a cab and running to the terminal and our frantic calls and giving of directions...

we finally met up with each other....

heng ah. :)

after a frantic morning we finally made it onto the ferry and were on our way!:D

yay.

when the all girls team are on a one hour plus journey what do we do?

whip out your cameras and snapsnapsnap that is! hehe.

this was dada's spider to hold her camera we got for her birthday...


we used it more for posing purpose than for its original purposes of being a tripod...lols:P

finally! we have arrived!:)

we initially thought we were supposed to have a free and easy trip...and after much confusion, discussion and checking with the guide we never knew we were supposed to have a were part of a half day tour.

first stop!

to visit guan yin niang niang.

then we were sent off to some factory outlet before walking opposite the road for a massage.

mine, mei's and ching's were good. they had enough strength...jo and dada said theirs were far from satisfactory.

not to sound pervert-ic or anything, the silhouette of a girls back is really very beautiful... (because we all shared the same room.)

we discussed all the drama we had recently watched...so much fun!:D

after massage. lunch!:)

no we didn't eat bird's nest, just stood and pose next to it...lol #fail

we were going to have seafood lunch.

the girls were really excited except for me and dada because we were not seafood fans...lol..

so we were the only two goondos eating the vegies...lol..

but i did enjoy the fish and prawn...lucky the prawn was deep fried, no need to deshell can eat. they were all amazed by my 'power' to eat shell, meat and all down. lols.

after lunch we went to watch some mini performance just outside.

there was the fire and glass eating man and he could tear coconuts with his bare hands. impressive, but i don't know, i didn't really like it....

after lunch we went to visit another temple.

Kong Zi Miao where they prayed for good results in school.

Over at the side there were a few food stores we went over for a eat and drink.

yah! more food! hehe.:P

if it looks as if we were very happy eating and drinking the coconut, its a LIE.

omg. i really love to eat this but that was the first time i've seen it outside kuching.

i always must have these kueh along with the other must have food when i'm in kuching.

sometimes some people who don't know how to make it, it taste just mehh.

then off we went to some keropok shop...i bought some back home...i bought some to give away too...

but by the time i brought them back, they were in no shape to be given to friends...all crushed by bad handling...:(:S sorry guys and gals no keropok to give you all.

and so we had ice cream at this shop...yesh, eat again i know right! ahahah....double choc ice cream.

after that we had to sent some of the group people off to the terminal and so stopped off at a shopping mall...with actually nothing. its a empty shopping mall...ok lah, there are stores, but not the kind where you really shop at i guess...

we saw this...quite funny!:p

the rest of the trip was just bus journey around....i got excited when i saw sunset from the bus...so we were all busy trying to capture the sunset....hahaha...it was funny how the whole bus shifted from side to side on my cue to where the sunset was...:P

by the time we reached the restaurant it was already dinner time...

yes. eat again...lol.

despite what you see, we did do abit of walking so it wasn't that bad.

jojo had this and we had nasi goreng...it was SO SALTY.

haha.

it was complimentary though.

when everyone's trying to look pretty...i am not even trying.

lol.

we chit chatted till the wee hours of the morning.

we actually had two rooms to stay in but we squeezed into one...more fun and cosy:)

this was the engagement present we surprised jojo with after she came out from the shower...

without glasses shes almost as blind as a bat..so a few times when she stood closer to us we just stayed calm because i knew she couldn't see what we were doing..:P

she loved the engagement/proposal present.

we had Heineken while dada and meimei KO-ed. Mei drank a few sips before she was too sleepy...we talked even more and shot a few snaps...the rest had me looking too bad...so i'm not showing! muahaha. i was NOT drunk, i was just looking unglam as usual. fat face shots. haha.

woked up early next morning.

such unbecoming if this were shown to prospective mother in laws.

it was actually much more dramatic than i say it here, we nearly $%^&^%$!@&*! miss the ferry because of a very ngiao officer. Don't wanna dwell too much on the drama and bad memories of that part, the good thing was we managed to catch our ferry on time because of some very kind souls. thank you nice people:))

my advice to people who are going is that,

remember to go earlier..really, don't wait till the last minute...at least maybe an hour in advance.

i think we went about 35 minutes in advance and because of a far flowing system we nearly had a heart attack. and all the vulgar words were flying in the air as we were frantically being 'pushed' from here to there being aimless ducks finding our way around.

but because of kind souls everything went well and we had a nice full stop to our trip.

:))

a lil weekend get away does wonders to your moods and spirit. if you can't go far. go places like this with your buddies, it as the buggers always say, its not really the place but who you are with that matters most.

I can't agree more.

that's why i love going to places abroad with people i like.

if i've gone with you abroad, yesh, i love you people very much and am so comfortable with you.

can't wait to go a trip soon....

so many friends are going with boyfriends here and there.

Remember this post i wrote sometime back but not too long ago with the photo of Spencer and awkward turtle? You don't?! O it's ok, come, here's the link. Yea, that's the post...:) So, i was talking about Spencer which lead to Wongfu Production and to their shop and then to the awkward turtle which I have been wanting to get for the longest time but haven't been able to because it was sold out when I went to the store:(

see...it was sold out:( and i was hoping it would be replenished soon...
and so i wrote on that last post if someone anyone who would be so kind to buy one and surprise me when its up i would be one happy kid.

and boy! was i one HAPPY LUCKY kid last night!:))) the joy!
because one i've been wanting it for some time, i'm a sucker for it.

Sis popped by all the way to my house (how sweet can anyone get already?!:))) to pass me my 'thumb drive' Why the inverted commas?
It's because there was much more to come with it...
She left me a message asking me if i was home a day earlier which i missed (watching tv, only saw e msg at 2? when i was going to bed), the next day she gave me a call and said she wanted to pass me my thumbdrive...i was stunned for a moment because i totally forgotten i had passed her photos through my elmo thumb...haha...it took me about 10secs to recall with her prompting....

so when she was down stairs she gave me a call, i mean i was already very happy i got to see her on a random night, but she brought more surprise!
tadaaa! this was what she brought with her...(of course she put it very nicely in a beautiful bag and all with my thumb drive, but in my excitement i left them out of the pic, just realised...)

When she passed me the plastic bag with the contents i was shock and surprised! blissfully!
because you see...(if you open big its the words in red) the awkward turtle key chain is still currently out of stock! there was no way she could have gotten it...she said she just clicked into the site and it was in stock! omg! maybe people up there are playing a joke on me so its always out of stock when i see...hahaa...or...My sis has magic powers!! oo! i got it...shes really lucky and because shes so nice she use some for me...the gods must be smiling at her, so indirectly i'm getting good luck too! wow wee! thanks sis! again!:DDD

Sakura Green Tea flavour!
From Narita Aiport, consolation prize, because in all ironies i was so near yet so far from Japan my most beloved country on list of must vists in lifetime...

i finished the last one some time back...it was really nice!:DD i liked it. now no more le...:( boo.
actually I'm a sucker for anything sakura, for that was really what caught my eye first, secondly many pals of mine know i like to try the various kitkat flavours there are out there, well except for the overly unique ones...like those weird ones...garlic or wasabi or funny stuff like that if you get what i mean...;) the last time they brought sakura kit kat in i also had to try, it was nice too:DD

Hope they will bring in this flavour next time, o and at a more affordable price too! haha...

i saw this website on the packaging of the kitkat and out of curiosity went to click click.
everything was in jap, so i was really just poking around.

i had fun doing the kitkat cover sleeve with the photo of the gals..:) i like this photo of us! fang, huan and jin!:)) and added purikura stuff...:))
only thing is that i think you have to purchase it or something then maybe it'll come as an exclusive kitkat wrapper...? ( i have no idea, its all in jap, i'm guessing)

lilaLienations: omg. my legs are sore, did some jogging and running (say until, like i did alot, but actually i just managed to do it for awhile cause i was panting like a dog!) apart from the usual brisk walk today. and did some squats and planking...lousy max. couldn't last over 20seconds.fail. haha...but i don't think i worked out any abdominal muscles...must get tt part right too next time. slowly does it. boy, i'm so unfit! so exercise to health and maintain a cardiovascular pumping!

But the only thing was that even when i received snail mail i was also very very happy!

note there is a difference between the CPRs administered for adults and very little children.

I've been wanting to learn CPR for the longest time but haven't had the opportunity to do so. I finally got a chance for a free lesson last year but it ran in with the time i had to fly off to the states so I didn't manage to attend the course...

I suddenly had the urge to see if there are any courses teaching beginner's CPR ( I only thought there was one kind, but when i went to see there were like a few kinds for different categories of people) After checking out a few rates then did i think to myself, damn. why did i had to miss the free lesson *cheapskate:P* The price ranges I found were from $60-$250 (why the difference in prices?!) I haven't exactly look closely into why the prices vary so much and what each had to offer...i'll think i'll look at it another time because it's 2am now...( and i was thinking of posting a very happy :') moment today because of a kind soul..make that two..aww:) but i'm sleepy, so i'll post it up on the next post!:))

I think CPR is a good skill to have, becuse *choy! touch wood!!* we would never know when it can come in handy. It's a life skill.

Until i officially get my CPR cert and am assured that i know what to do if the time calls for it, i will at least get myself equipped with knowledge from this kind of mini tutorials for CPR. Do take a look too aite? It won't take more than a minute to remember something this important. But of course it would be best to really learn the skills before you administer it, so i'll update you guys if i find any good and more affordable course if i get any:) or i hope the last course i could attend and learn for free or at a cheaper rate come back again this year!:)

In the meantime, keep yourself healthy.
Have a healthy Heart, do more cardiovascular goodness exercise.

ok. and there goes my long hair. snippity snip snip. its not that short actually, but its just running fingers through your hair and it stops short and then you stop to think, what the hell was i thinking?! when i asked for shorter hair cut which is not short enough to make a statement because i can't due to my curly hair making it terrible for any shorter hair length.

anyhoo, i like it straight now, at least the unruly curves in the hair doesn't get me now.

I have been wanting to visit this cafe for the longest time ever since i saw the interior in a magazine i flipped in the salon when i was getting my hair rebonded, yesh, that's where usually i get to read more than 5 magazines at one sitting, because i very kiam (translation:stingy much, but hey! environmentally friendly too k:P), dun wanna buy so many magazines unless there is something i really want to read and keep or if mayday is on the cover. LOLs. They'll hog up too much space and gather dust if i don't life them. So anywayy, i've been wanting to go there since let's see maybe 4 rebonds ago...? Due to my less than impressive memory i forgotten the shop name as soon as i left the salon, then i chanced upon it in a friend's eightdays magazine, i wrote it down in my lesson notes and went home forgetting about it, yet again. Well, at least i remembered to do the assignments, that was probably the reason i forgot to research on the shop.

And randomly one day I suddenly remembered about the place and did a search and found their site or was it i found their site and remembered about them again.

anyway....i found them and so wanted to go! i found their location to be at shaw towers, the only problem was i had no idea where in the world was shaw towers! i knew according to didi it was near bugis but i've never been there at all. And i couldn't find anyone to accompany me there, so slowly i forgotten all about this place, or remembering it once awhile.

and then finally, one day when ting talked about shaw towers did my light bulb flicker on. *ding! I told her about this place i wanted to go to....by then i had totally forgotten about the website and shop name etc...the only way i could describe it was the shop is very unique and quirky, the chairs and table don't quite match but it looks like a very nice cosy place to be at.

And taadaa! with some online searching ting found their blog again and we fixed a date just to go there, this was before she started in her new line so despite the hectic schedule for the week, i thought i must have a last outing session with sis;)

taddaaa! Here we are! I was totally clueless, she brought me all the way!:) thanks sis!

If you go in from inside the shopping centre you'll enter through a salon first, don't get alarmed because on one end they are a salon on the other they are a cafe. ;)

Despite really being there because of the interior and all the food is pretty decent actually! if not yummy i must say!:) yes i'm a sucker for interesting places comfy places to be at. if bread is your thing, try their sandwiches!It was good:)
Mine was baked ham with honey mustard or something along that line. :)

We were contemplating between the pastas and the sandwiches, sandwiches won our votes of course, but the pastas which we saw being served at the other tables looked good too!

we initially were thinking of sitting in these seats, but we rationalise it would be harder to eat a proper meal with a low table like this, so we choose a higher one.

almost all the tables and chairs in the cafe are not the same, and i like it that way. the tinge of retro-ness also adds to the flavour of the place.

we had the chocolate caramel and the bread and butter pudding (above). The chocolate pudding was slated on the rack as a must try, so me being anything chocolate goes (but not white chocolate ah. nono.) had to try their 'must try' Honestly, it was good, but not awesome, it would have been better if it was a little more moist:) (and not only i think so, the *review** by the food blogger thinks so too) The bread and butter pudding was sinful but o-so-yummy!:D

Treasured outings

Growing up and maintaining relationships with people are very different things. It doesn't necessarily mean the people you make friends with will stick with you throughout your life. Therefore the older you grow the more friends you know (because I used to assume as a kid, its like maths right? you have 10 friends now in kindergarten, and then you make 10 more in primary school and then 10 more in secondary so by the time you graduate from poly that should leave you around 40 over people, or so in my naive thoughts it should be alot of people) But growing up you learn that there are people who are friends and there are people who are close friends, and sometimes try as you might even close friends can one day turn into just friends whom you are not as willing to share every other secret with, or feel totally awkward just being around with. In life, i have never regretted being friends with anyone, yes, many walked and in and out of my life as i might have walked out of theirs, intentionally or unintentionally.

Friendships as in all other relationships in life need some effort to maintain, I realise life and the relationships we build go in a full circle. O ~~crap~~ i actually wanted to do a simple post of me and ting going out to coffee and post pics and i started to discuss more on it...and now i'm writing a looong story (which seems i'm being emo, when i am Not!! really. :))

So anyway, i'm really grateful so the time i got to sent with sis after her finishing up school during the free days. In quite a number of ways it felt as if we were back to secondary school, i told her when we saw some secondary school kids in the mrt telling each other "see you tmr" that last time that was one thing which we easily took for granted. Nowadays you don't get to see your buddies everyday and be sure when you say see you tmr that when tmr comes, you'll see each other somewhere in school. Orange would say i'm getting old, because i'm being sentimental. -_- haha. but ain't that true? i mean now it would be pretty awesome if you get to meet your budds more than 2-3 times in the same month (because my budds are pretty awesome and busy popular people);P

During this free-r time that ting had i felt we had gotten closer again ( we were always close, shes my sis of course) but how do i put it, close enough to lay out what i thought were my grievances through the past few years. I am the kind of person who would not openly share my thoughts especially if they are intimately negative ones because i fear to be judge or worst face the anger. *horrors* So if i every let you know i am upset with you or the situation we're facing, booyaa! you are so that very important to me. hehe:P

And after the whatsapp session into late night i felt that finally i've gotten the load off my chest, i finally said it out. haha. and we talked about it...i think its good to communicate thoughts! but i say it but i don't do it much, i know right. lol. And after that 'confession' session as i called it, because i think of it as my petty thoughts being laid out...and then talked and shared and laugh..we had a number of coffee sessions...:) we talked and gossiped about lotsa stuff, i love it when you have endless things to share with each other. i admit, i'm a boring person and if i don't gather with a person i can click with, jialat, the conversations going to be boringgg,but i'll always try to be polite, but with sis, it never happens, even when we are both quiet there isn't the tinge of Awkward! kinda feel....:)

a acquaintance i met at a headhunt (for sales people, they wanted me, are very nice and all, but its sales, if you don't sell the package you have to eat yourself. and many i've spoke to warn me against it, so i'm listening. so yea, you get what i mean, but that's another story) said to me in one of those small talks:

" Having rejections is more interesting right...? I mean like who would want a smooth journey all the time, it'll be pretty boring...All the more when people say no, you would be fired up...." This was in response to me asking..."so I think half the time people just ignore you and walk off am I right?" At this point of me asking this, it was a friendly small talk, we kinda gotta know each other and were comfortable speaking..

Hearing his response i just kindly smiled and nodded and continued the conversation...but in my head I was thinking, man, i would really rather a 'boring' road if it meant i would have to face less rejections in my life, or more security in that sense, he probably never really faced with big rejections in his life before, maybe apart from bgr. I live on the tenterhooks of bigger rejections and feelings of dejection, at every damn turning point in life. But hey, i haven't died yet, so i'm facing it with optimism. But honestly, if it meant a lil more boredom, maybe i'll just go for that, I enjoy an interesting bumpy ride too, but if there ain't any, i'll settle for a smooth sailing one and just enjoy the scenery to go with it.

and yet of course, while i'm saying these, mine is pretty much still quite flowly, because when you scream frustration, remember, there'll always be someone out there who needs to scream out louder.

haven't had one in quite a while...i mean for no reason, usually when i have one its because of the weather, sickness or i had been greedy eating things i shouldn't have been...*allergy much to food colouring* What might have been the trigger today? I really don't remember....the donut? or bubble tea....lets blame the passion fruit bubble tea...*poor bubble tea* haha:P

Just sent out my Thank you letter to the lady who did my first interview today (first because if i'm lucky and impressed them, i'll get a second. o god! plss! i really hope i did good this time!) Actually in writing all these covers and thank yous and resume, I don't feel it shows my true writing capabilities (wah. chey, as if i really have:P), no i mean sincerely, because in these letter its not really "me". I would never boast of myself to be of what and what capabilities and blah blah...aka selling myself in those manner, i know it is needed, it is industry practice, but writing my thank you letter earlier i felt that I really wanted to sincerely just say thank you, but as advised it was still best to put in some good words for myself, so yes i did so too, feels weird, its as if its a kind of invisible accepted arrogance (the name for it is call resume writing) but then again, as my friends say, sell yourself, don't shortchange yourself, because you know, you can do the job, just that sometimes we tend to be a little 'asian' and think of ourselves to be less capable than what we can really achieve.

I know if i get it, i can do the job well, though i'm not as bright or what not, i never fail people who put their trust in me. :) that's honesty. :)

Ok. random verbal vomit i was thinking. hahaha....

Today was pretty awesome.
Thank you thank you to the people who saw my blog and sent me their love and luck. Arigatou!! big LOVE!!

Had a spate of lucky today, after a spate of learnings, yesh, if this is the turning of good luck, i'm taking it all in baby!:D heh. Had a good breakfast, managed to swop seats with GV and got 3 seats tgt for me, orange and jy for Mayday's DNA premier! jy and fang sent me luck and encouragement!:) thanks you guys:) and i met ting on the way to my interview. How Lucky!:))) She gave me lotsa pointers and tips and encouragement! thanks sis! And the nuffnang interviewer was really nice:) i really hope i made a good impression and didn't come off as a overactive seller making her uncomfortable, i sure hope not....i don't think i did, but i think i did show i was enthusiastic about joining the company, its a good thing right?:) because i really am:)

after the interview, hitched a ride home with family, lucky again!:D

a spate of luckies! sure hope it rubs on for my interview too and they call me back for a second interview and *with all the luck* employ me! heh:) i'm no genius, but i'm as loyal hardworker as you can get;)

Nuffnang called me for an interview!!
when she called me earlier i was out on the busy street and couldn't hear who call so i was just happy to get an interview, when i got home i checked out my mailbox to see which company it was exactly because she told me she would give me a mail, i didn't see any mail, so i decided to call back.

and. omg. (though i might have sounded like a total idiot because i kinda called and ask where i was calling to, sorry, lady on the phone, i didn't mean to trouble you like that) when i heard nuffnang, i was literally shaking a little!

okok. so i'm getting happy too soon, i've not landed anything successfully yet, but, hey, if this means the beginning of good luck, i'm taking it!

of course, i wouldn't put sky high hopes, but i'm going to make sure i try my best (i always do) but i'm going to try even bester than best this time. PLEASE EMPLOY ME Nuffnang. :DDD i'll work very hard for you!

this post is in response to jy's request to see my wedges. LOLs. Doesn't that sound very youtube like? If you frequent youtube you'll understand what i mean....

And here is a look at my first higher heel shoes....its actually a wedge so that's doesn't count as a heel anymore does it?i'm still not too sure about this heel thing, its quite comfy, but as i have a lousy 'man's cut' foot i still tend to get blisters, but this shoes doesn't give me stuff too bad so i'm alright with it.:)

People have the misconception that i hate heels, ok maybe i don't love them as much as my sneakers, but i don't hate them either. Its just that because my feet is built in a way that it doesn't allow me to have much choices to what i wear, the stuff i want usually is out of size or out of stock or something along that line...didi says i have no shoes luck. ahh. damn. haha
i do know wearing nice heels will make you look more ladylike, but then again, i really prefer comfort over killing my feet to look 'taller'.....
but yes, growing up, you'll have to take in all the rubbish of societal pressures...i'll shop for more heels now....when i have the money....haha.*i'll still be loyal to my sneakers too....*
the only thing with height addition shoes is that you can't walk very fast stably, well, at least i can't for now. i just try taking big strides to seem to go faster, only that i look more like a goon than i originally am walking what i deem 'normally'. mum says i walk like a duck left right left right, ok, the duck part was add in by me, she said i don't walk in a straight line....i kinda know, but i can't help it! as much as i would like to change that habit....

WHY did i spend money!! and it was not because it was justifiable reason for the month ( presents for loved ones are justifiable to me) spending on self is just tsk. well at least for now, should stop having "bad eyes and itchy hands" if you get dialect, you might be able to get that sentence;P

i really like to play chanteys....the melody...i like playing tunes with melodies for flute....
and i hate playing running notes...bane of my life...lol...
but i got through in the past with lotsa practise...i still can memorise out the running notes for upon these wings and love playing it:)

i needa get essential elements and the other one we had to play more scales....i don't remember many scales now....all returned back...

there was an infection in my left earring hole and got an antiseptic cream to help treat it.
I thought the cream was going to be expensive but nooo! it was less than 2 bucks, woohoo:)

there has been one thing i have been ignoring or lying to myself about and finally found out what it was today....
because when my infection cleared up on my earring hole i had this lump growing on my ear lobe, i thought darn, pimple again.
all this while when i had it it never occurred to me it could be anything else more than a pimple, or actually maybe sometimes it did, but knowing me, i hate going to the doctor...so i just waved it off....
today following mum n dad to e docs cause they wanted to see to get their meds i finally found out what it was....
the irritating lump is a
Cyst a sebaceous cyst.
lol. using big words feeling important when it actually ain't so.

so its just like a growth in my ear lobe and its always there but i don't see it, it only gets 'activated' when i have infections or other kinds of aggravations to my ear. sobs that means i don't get to wear earrings on my left ear often now.....
there's nothing i can do about it, there is surgery but doctor advise against it because my ear would look like 'cauliflower' ear, whatever that is, its probably ugly.

i went to read up on it and left the link above, the only interesting fact is that the cyst has a characteristic of a cheesy smell...lols. i'm stuck with it because i was born like that. *cue lady gaga song* :P

and only after reading the article i realised that its not that strange, i mean i saw pictures of someone having the cyst exactly where i'm having it...its pretty common place to have it...so reading up and learning really does help alot....(in terms of scaring yourself because your ignorant, so its better to be well read)

that's all the daily life scraps i have for now...

Ever so often or maybe just once in awhile friends who know my fan-ism of Mayday will suddenly ask me: " Do you know.... Ashin is attached?/ Has a girlfriend? I just happen to chance unpon this news lately...." Some friends will thread very carefully asking this question as if I were a ticking time bomb and would explode upon hearing that news.....

haha:) my pals take good care of me, but I'm the sort of fan who hopes my idol to find their entitled happiness, they deserve someone to love them too!:)
(not in the fan-idol kinda way if you get what i mean;))

I think not many people know of Ashin's gf because they have been together for so long now and Ashin's very guai. muhahaa..:)) People even went on to speculate that Ashin was gay! 0.o!! omg. haha...they should really see the two together, according to friends (mayday too) and co-workers, these two act very mushy together.so much so that the rest of mayday sometimes cannot stand it too....hee.
When paparazzi first got the wind of the news i think almost 10 years back, they did a small (or maybe big? i didn't see e news then) report on it, but i refuse to put those photos they put up, alamak, they really don't bother to take a nicer photo of Dandan jie, make her look so unglam can.

I think the recent photos do her more justice. :) yeap the ones i posted up, you can check out the older ones in the links i'll leave around. ;)

Some fans have said that she is not suitable for Ashin. They have been spreading mean things saying she is too plain for Ashin, but hey, I wouldn't expect any less from my idol. I would have been more disappointed if he was the sort to go for ladies just because of their looks or a vavavoom kinda body. So yea, he is pretty much the respected lao da i know he is. :) He goes for the 'inner soul' not just the other looks and who are these people to judge his gf saying shes plain looking, 情人眼里出西施( i sure hope i got that right:P) :) yesh, that's the ashin i respect.

From what i know they met in school, when ashin wasn't as famous as he is now. 10 years in a relationship with a star, everyone who honestly thinks about it will understand there are lots of difficulties behind it, yes, your boyfriend maybe one of the most sought after guy in Asia, but you don't get to spend time outside like normal couples doing what most couples would deem 'normal'

So many people say they would die to marry so and so star from certain boyband/group...but honestly, if we were to throw you in that situation...you might not last long enough. and if love only for superficial reasons, you wouldn't be able to 包容your star away from the lime light, because away from the lime light, they are still like you and me. (ok, only they are more talented and handsome. granted. lol)

I won't call myself the unorthodox fan for wanting him to get a happy married life soon, because i'm sure there are many fans out there who would send well wishes and hope he finds his true other half soon too:) i think fans who want their idols to stay single for the whole of their life in hope of marrying someday are just selfish. some fans actually cry, throw tantrums, not support their idol anymore after they announce they are attached are just plain selfish. yea, if you are one of those kind, tsktsk, grow up! stop dreaming! ok, its ok to dream, but stop being selfish!

I hope all my other Mayday members, Ashin, Monster and Masha can find their better other halves and get happily married too (just like Stone papa and Ming papa, blissfully married with two kids!:)).

Actually they were supposed to come with flowers/balloon which ever i liked from the flower shop...but then alas, at according to murphy, what can go wrong will go wrong.
So i went around 3 rounds and couldn't find the flower shop in cwp.
wth. hahaha. when i need it it's never there, when i don't, i keep seeing it....but never mind as least i got something unique to the occasion too...:)
but stupidly, i decided to wear wedges for the day to make sure i looked formal enough (what made me wanted to look formal? i dunno, i didn't wanna throw sis's face i guess? I was worried if i didn't look prim and proper enough it wouldn't look good for her...? think too much. but hey, you friends reflect you too) so pacing up and down so quickly was bad choice in wedge because i got blisters, damn shoes...:S luckily there was one thing right, i had awesome plasters!!!:DD saviors. lol
Sis gave me directions but i was so worried i got them wrong and to meet people who are on their first day of work and couldn't tell me where i wanted to go was right or not...pfft.
but lucky me or ~~clever~~ me *bhb* i found the correct place! woohoo!:DD
but felt bad because i still lacked a bouquet of flowers/balloon...i had it all planned in my head but pfft. murphy, i blame you. lols

I would probably have just say it in you very average layman boring way.

I don't get the big hoo-haa about the fking did it by the valedictorian, come on, give her a break. I think it's pretty alright and i'm cool with it, it's not as if she were meaning it in the bad way and scolding people, its just an expression, loosen up a little already.
